As you are planning for February, remember it is Dental Health month!!! This Dental Health Preschool Pack is full of math, literacy, and writing activities for your preschoolers.
Here is a look inside the pack!
Ten Frame Teeth- Build a smile with marshmallows, pom poms, or snap cubes.
Prewriting Tracing Lines- Practice prewriting skills by tracing each line with dry erase marker.
Brush a Letter- Brush away the germs by identifying each letter, and writing it on the line.
Count and Clip- Count the teeth in each jar. Clip it to the correct number.
Fine Motor Color Sort- Use tongs to sort pom poms onto the correct color of toothbrush.
Paint and Brush a Letter - Paint each letter with a toothbrush!
Tooth Writing Tray- Trace each letter in a writing tray of salt.
Alphabet Cavity Excavation- I made a huge play dough tooth for this activity and threw in some Learning Resources letter beads. Use tongs to pull out each letter cavity!
Once you pull out the letters, they leave letter prints. You can have your students match the letters back on the tooth, like a puzzle!
Find a Letter Sensory Tray- Find each letter and trace it on the recording page.
Dental Numbers Around the Room- Place the number cards around the room. Find and trace each number.
Floss Shape Puzzles- Match each floss shape to the tooth with the same shape.
Floss Painting- I LOVE process art, and painting with new materials. We dipped floss in paint and slid it around the page! This was a neat process and turned out pretty cool.
Subitizing Dominos- Make a domino trail by matching numbers that are the same.
Clip a Sound - Write letters on clothespins. Clip it to the picture with that beginning sound.
Tooth Fairy Flight- Measure how far each tooth fairy flew.
Sticky Wall Match- Use Contact Paper to make a sticky wall! Match the uppercase and lowercase letters.
Here is a fun freebie for you. You can grab it HERE.
Shape Tic Tac Toe- Practice shape identification as you play tic-tac-toe!
