As Halloween approaches, that means pulling out our collection of Halloween books! Zip! Zoom! On a Broom is a fun counting book for preschoolers. You can snag this in my TPT shop.
First up, we did broom painting. I used a rubber band to group spaghetti together. Then I boiled it, making sure only the bottom half was in the water. Both of my boys loved painting with the 'broom'.
Count pom poms onto each bubble! Then trace the number with dry erase marker.
Practice working with adding and subtracting 1 and 2 with this ten frame witch game!
Alphabet Stew- Grab a letter from the cauldron and trace it on the recording sheet. There are uppercase and lowercase recoding sheets.
Broomstick alphabet match. You can write lowercase or uppercase letters on a clothespin. Clip it to the letter to make a broomstick.
This was a TON of fun. Cauldron counting. Students can follow the directions on the recipe cards to count and add ingredients to the cauldron.
Broomstick measurement- Use cubes to measure each broomstick and compare sizes.
I hope your little ones enjoy these activities as much as my boys did.
