Fine motor activities are SO important to little learners. Here are some super FUN fine motor activities for the month of October. Use these for morning tubs/table time, early finishers, or for centers.

Cutting Strips- Just add scissors and practice cutting along the lines.
Counting at the Pumpkin Patch- Use tweezers or tongs to count pumpkin mini erasers (or pom poms) onto each counting mat.
What is Different- Use a clothespin to clip the picture that is different in each set.
Linking Shape Numbers- Count each group of pumpkins. Link it to the tractor and bed with the same number.
Monster Colors- Use tweezers or tongs to sort buttons or pom poms onto each colored mat.
Shape Spin and Cover- Spin the spinner. Identify the shape. Use a counter to cover the same shape on the game board.
Clipping Pumpkin Patterns- Pick a pattern card. Use clothespins to clip the pumpkins on a ribbon to follow the pattern.
Clip a Beginning Sound- Use letter clothespins (or write a letter on each clothespin) and clip the beginning sound to the card.
Wikki Stix Letters- Use Wikki Stix to build each letter.
