This Gingerbread Preschool Pack is packed full of fun math, literacy, and writing activities for preschool and prek learners.
You can grab this pack in my TPT shop.
Here is a look inside this pack.
Spin and Cover- Spin the spinner and cover the same colored peppermint.
Letter Hunt- Cover the sheet with flour. Dust it off to reveal the letter. Trace it on the recording page.
Gingerbread Roll and Fill- This activity is great for counting and fine motor skills. Roll a dice and count that many pom poms into a gingerbread cookie cutter. Use tongs to work on fine motor skills while playing.
Gingerbread Rhymes- Complete each puzzle by matching rhyming words.
Letter Tracing Cards- Trace each letter with dry erase marker.
Shape Cookies- Match the correct shape to each cookie.
Counting Buttons- Count buttons onto each gingerbread man.
PreWriting Lines- Trace each line with a dry erase marker, or follow the line with buttons practicing the left to right progression.
Gingerbread Measurement- Use buttons, pom poms, or gumdrops to measure each gingerbread man.
Gumdrop Number Hunt- Place the number cards around the room. Find each number and trace it on the recording page.
Gingerbread Ten Frames- Count buttons, or gumdrops onto the ten frame. Trace each number.
Gumdrop Patterns- Create and extend patterns with gumdrops or pom poms.
Gingerbread Letter Excavation- I have a silicone mold for just about every theme we do, because there are so many SUPER FUN ways to use them. For this activity, I froze our letter beads in each gingerbread man. We used water to excavate each letter.
Create a Gingerbread Man- We used a variety of art supplies (crayons, glitter glue, pom poms, googly eyes, and buttons) to create gingerbread men!
Catch the Gingerbread Man- Use a magnetic wand to catch the gingerbread men.
