Dragons Love Tacos- Preschool Book Companion

My kids love the book Dragons Love Tacos! Here are some fun and hands-on learning activities to go along with the story.

Beginning Sound Clip- Cover or clip the pictures with the correct beginning sound.

Spicy Salsa Counting- Use paint and a q-tip to count jalapenos into each bowl of salsa.

Taco Track- Read and dot each letter on the taco track.

Taco Sounds- Write letters on dot stickers. Match each letter to a picture with the correct beginning sound.

Spin to 20- Spin the spinner and color that many spaces until you reach 20.

Roll and Trace- Roll a dice and trace a letter in each row.

Roll and Build- Roll a dice. Use cubes to build a tower below that number.

Play Dough Tacos- Build each letter out of play dough.

Build a Taco- Build a taco by following the recipe card.

Dragon Ten Frames- Build each number in the ten frame. Trace the number. Then match the correct number of dots to each card.
