These activities will practice a variety of preschool skills including letters, numbers, color sorting, counting, tracing, fine motor skills and retelling!
Create your own mitten and retell the story!
Fine Motor Mittens- Practice fine motor skills and color sorting with this mitten color sort.
Play Dough Alphabet- Build each uppercase letter with play dough.
Mittens in the Snow- Pick each mitten out of the snow (cotton balls). Count the dots on each mitten, and trace the number on the recording page.
Counting Snowballs- Count snowballs (cotton balls) onto each mitten.
Mitten Clip - Match each uppercase and lowercase letter mittens. Clip them together with a clothespin.
Animal Count- How many animals fit into the mitten? Place animals in each mitten, and count the totals.
What's in the Mitten?- Place an object in each mitten. Pull it out and identify the beginning sound. Write the letter on the recording page.
Mitten Craft- Use bleeding tissue paper and water to make this adorable mitten craft.
