Kindergarten  Math Mats for January 

Here is a peek inside the pack.


Winter Domino Count- Place a domino on the game board. Build the number in the twenty frame, circle the number, and write the number.



Snowflake Counting - Roll a dice and show that number in the center of the playing. Show one more and one less. Write the numbers.


Roll and Compare- This game is for 2 players. Both players roll dice and show their numbers by placing cotton balls on the snow pile. Compare numbers.


Flip and Build -  Place two playing cards on the game board. Build the number with base ten blocks. Write the number.


Snowman Counting
- Roll a dice. Show that number in the ten frame. Write the number, circle the number, and build the number on the snowman. 


Hot Chocolate Coins- Roll 4 dice. Add that many of each coin onto the playing mat.



Roll and Make 10- Roll a dice. Build that number on the ten frame. Find the missing addend. Write the addition sentence.


Part, Part, Whole- Spin the spinner twice. Add the numbers together.


Flip and Compare- This game is for two players. Both players flip a playing card. The player with the larger number gets a point.


Snowflake Subtraction-  Place ten counters on the snowflakes. Flip a playing card and remove that many counters. Write the subtraction sentence. 


Spin and Subtract- Spin both spinners. Use counters to solve the subtraction problem. 


Spin to 100- Spin both spinners. Cover that number on the 100s chart.


Roll, Write, and Build- Roll a dice. Write the number. Place that many pom poms/cubes in the mug.


Snowman Measurement- Measure each snowman with cubes.
