Camping Preschool Fine Motor
Camping is such a fun theme for preschool students. These fine motor activities all have a camping theme, and practice fine motor skills.
Camping Preschool Fine Motor Task Boxes
Hole Punch- Grab a hole punch (my favorite is from Walmart) and punch each picture.
Stamp a Sound- Look at the pictures on the hiking trail. What is the beginning sound? Grab a ball of play dough and stamp the beginning sound.
Build a Letter- You can't do a camping theme without marshmallows! Build each letter with buttons, beads, gem stones, or marshmallows!
Before and After Clip- Use number clothespins to clip the numbers that come before and after each smore number.
Ten Frame Clip- Use number clothespins to clip each number on the ten frame sign.
Build a Shape- Build each 2D shape with marshmallows and pipe cleaners, or toothpicks and play dough.
Popsicle Stick Letters- Build each lowercase letter with popsicle sticks.
Firefly Counting - Build each number with beads. Then, count and cover each firefly.
Letter Lacing- Lace letter beads on a pipe cleaner.
