Apple Preschool Math Mats
These apple themed math mats are low prep (just one page each) and engaging for your preschool students.
Roll an Apple Tree- Grab a dice (10 or 20 sided) and roll! Count that many apples onto the tree.
Build a 2D Shape- Build each apple shape with play dough.
Roll and Cover- Practice subitizing by rolling a dice and covering with a counter.
Apple Cover Up- Use dominos with numbers 1-12. Cover the correct number with each domino.
Build a Pattern- Use math cubes to build a pattern in each row.
Apple Colors- Use buttons, beads, or counters to sort by color.
Find and Trace- Find each number and trace it on the playing mat.
Flip and Fill- Flip a playing card. Count that many apples into the barrel. Then write the number with dry erase marker.
Apple Counting- Count the apples in each tree. Match a number to each picture.
Apple Towers- Use cubes to build a tower to represent each number.
Seed Comparison- Place 2 dominos on the playing mat. Count seeds (black beans) onto each apple. Compare the numbers.
