Pumpkin Preschool Math Mats

Flip and Count Seeds- Flip over a playing card. Count that many pumpkin seeds onto the playing mat. Write the number with dry erase marker.

Seed Counting- Place numbers 1-10 in a sensory bin. Pull a number and match it to the correct picture.

Comparing Pumpkins- Roll two dice and count pumpkins into each tractor. Compare the numbers. Use a 10, or 20 sided dice to differentiate. 

Spin and Build a Jack-o-Lantern-  Spin the spinner and add that shape to the pumpkin until you have created a face! 

Build a Pumpkin Shape- Use play dough or Wikki Stix to outline each shape.

Domino Count and Build- Place a domino on the playing mat. Write the number with dry erase marker, build the number on the ten frame, and then circle the number.

Roll and Count Pumpkins- Roll a 10 or 20 sided dice. Count that many pumpkins into the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkin Color Sort- Sort beads, pom poms, or buttons onto the pumpkins.
