December Kindergarten Math Mats

What Time Is It?- Spin the spinner and write the time with dry erase marker.

Christmas Light Patterns- Use buttons, beads, or pom poms to build patterns.

Build a Tree- Roll a ten sided dice. Circle the number. Build the number on the tree. Then write the number with dry erase marker.

Comparing Sets- Roll two 20 sided dice. Build the numbers in the ten frame. Compare the sets.

Shape Race- This is a two player game to practice 2D shapes.

4 in a Row Subitizing- This is a two player game. The first player to get 4 in a row, wins.

Flip and Add- Place two playing cards on the playing mat. Place that many counters onto the sleigh. Add the numbers and write the answer.

Counting Lights- Roll a 20 sided dice. Build the number in the ten frame. Place that many counters on the lights. Then circle the number.

Ten Frame Subtraction- Place 10 play dough balls on the playing mat. Roll a dice. Smash and subtract. 

Build and Compare- Roll two dice. Use triangle pattern blocks to build trees. Compare numbers. 

Spin and Build-  Spin the spinner and write the number. Use base 10 blocks to show the number.

Roll and Show- Roll a dice. Use counters to find various ways to represent the number. Write the addition problems on the lines.
