These alphabet activities are perfect for a construction preschool theme. Use these in centers, small groups, or morning work bins. 

Construction Alphabet Mats

Alphabet Match- Use a sensory bin and fill it with letter beads. Find a letter, and match it to the recording page.

Alphabet Play Dough Smash- Roll a play dough ball. Smash it and stamp it on each letter.

Roll, Say, Cover-  Roll a dice. Say the letter in the column, and cover it with a counter.

Alphabet Build It- Roll play dough snakes and build each letter.

Alphabet Trace It- Use a dry erase marker to trace each letter.

Spin, Trace, and Write- Spin the spinner, trace the letter, and write the letter.

What's the Sound?- Match a letter to each picture to identify the beginning sound.

Alphabet Search and Find- Find each hidden letter. Trace the letter. Check it off the checklist. 

Alphabet Uncover- Hide the letters with a thin layer of dirt (coffee grounds). Use a paintbrush to uncover the letters. Write the letters on the lines.
