Space Preschool Alphabet Mats
Do you need easy to prep and engaging alphabet activities for a space theme? These space alphabet mats are low prep and tons of fun for your preschool learners. These alphabet mats practice uppercase and lowercase letters, letter tracing, and beginning sounds.
I Spy Letters- Search and find each letter. Check it off the checklist.
Spin and Trace- Spin the spinner and trace/ write each letter in that row.
Alphabet Clip- Work on those fine motor skill as you match and clip each clothespin.
Smash and Stamp- Smash a play dough ball on each letter, and stamp it with an alphabet stamp.
Build It- Build each letter with blocks.
Alphabet Trace- Trace each letter with dry erase marker.
Roll and Cover- Roll a dice and use the code to cover the correct letter. This also comes with a beginning sounds option.
Read and Cover- Roll a dice and move along the gameboard, reading and covering matching letters.
Alphabet Pathway- Roll a dice, move that many spaces, and name the letter.
Match It- Match each letter to the recording page. For added fun, place the letters in a sensory bin.
Spin and Cover- Spin the spinner and cover a picture with that beginning sound.
Roll, Say, and Cover- Roll a dice. Name the letter in that row. Cover it with a counter.
Find It- Cover the letters with a thin layer of salt. Uncover each letter with a paintbrush. Write the letters with dry erase marker.
