Space Preschool Math Mats
These math mats are perfect for your Space Preschool theme! Use them for small groups, centers, or morning tubs. Each math activity is just ONE PAGE- so simple to throw together.
Space Towers- Identify each number. Build a tower with that many cubes.
Sorting Stars- Sort beads, buttons, or pom poms by color.
Rocket Shape Sorting- Sort shape buttons or mini erasers onto each rocket with the same shape.
Asteroid Counting - Flip over a playing card. Count that many asteroids onto the playing mat. Write the number with dry erase marker.
Flying Saucer Counting- Place numbers 1-10 in a sensory bin. Pull out each number and match it to the picture that shows each number.
Patterns in Space - Use cubes to build each pattern.
Domino Flip and Compare- Use dominos to build each number on the playing mat. Compare numbers.
Race and Cover - Roll and dice and move around the game board identifying each number. Cover a star in the center that shows the same number.
