This math preschool activity pack focuses on 2D Shapes with a fun, owl theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Owl Preschool Math- 2D Shapes 

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Discuss 2D shapes and the attributes of each shape. Then sing the song as a class. Hold up a shape owl, and have the class identify that shape. 

Small Groups/ Center Time- Build each 2D shape with popsicle sticks. Count the sides and vertices for each shape.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Sort shape buttons on each owl shape card. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Use the provided shape template to build a shape owl. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Spin the spinner, identify the shape, and color the corresponding shape.
