Garden Themed Unit
This themed unit is perfect for learning about plants and gardens with your kindergarten or 1st grade class. There are science activities, color centers, writing, no prep pages, and reading comprehension graphic organizers.
Plant Science- Learn about parts of a plant and what plants need to grow.
Tomato Life Cycle- Learn about the life cycle of a tomato.
Garden Writing- There are scrambled sentences, sentence starters, write the room, and a nonfiction book!
R Controlled Word Sort- Say each picture aloud and sort under the correct basket.
Compound Word Puzzles - Build each compound word.
Missing Numbers- Identify the missing numbers on the 100s chart. Write the missing numbers on the recording page.
Math Fact Sort- Complete each math problem and sort under the correct number
Garden Syllables - Count the syllables in each word. Lace that many beads onto the pipe cleaner.
