This math preschool activity pack focuses on measurement with a fun, bird theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Birds Preschool Math- Measurement

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Decorate a bird and then launch it in flight! How far did it fly?

Small Groups/ Center Time- Sort worms (pipe cleaners) or feathers from shortest to tallest.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Use a feather ruler to measure each bird.

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Measure the flight of each bird with dot markers or dot stickers. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Measure a feather with crayons, paper clips, cubes, and a ruler.
