   February Fine Motor Task Boxes


Are you looking for fine motor activities for February in your preschool classroom? These fine motor task boxes cover a variety of math, literacy, and writing skills, while practicing fine motor. 


February Fine Motor Task Boxes

Clip a Pattern- Use clothespins and ribbon to create and extend patterns.






Number Build- 
Use blocks to build each number. Then cover the 3 correct representations of each number.






Tracing Lines - Trace each line with dry erase marker.






Count and Punch- Identify each number. Use a hole punch to punch the correct amount of holes in each ten frame.






Count and Lace- Identify each number. Place that many beads on each pipe cleaner. 






Decorate a Cookie- Identify each number. Place that many decorations (loose parts/mini erasers) on each heart cookie.






Build a Letter- Use Valentine's Day themed loose parts, or conversation hearts, to build each letter.






Alphabet Clip-
Match each uppercase and lowercase letter. Clip them together.







Beginning Sound Clip- 
Identify each beginning sound. Clip an alphabet clothespin to each picture. 

Link a Rhyme- Link together pictures that rhyme.
