Pets preschool circle time has 5 mini lessons to go along with a read aloud, 5 -songs/chants to practice skills, wiggle sticks, and questions of the day.

Missing  Bunny- Use a pocket chart to hide the bunny behind a number. Take turns guessing where the bunny is hiding.

Fish Colors-  Practice color recognition with this fish colors chant.

Cat Shapes- Say the rhyme as a class. Have the student holding the shape called, stand up.

Question of the Day- There are 5,  pet themed, questions of the day to use during circle time.

Cat Names - Find the best name for each cat by choosing a name with the same beginning sound the pictures. 

Fish Shapes- Match each fish shape to the same shape fish tank. Then use stickers to sort shapes.

Dirty Dogs- As a class play alphabet snap to practice letter recognition. Then, use q-tips and brown paint to count dirt spots on each dog.
