If you need an December read aloud, I absolutely LOVE Otto the Ornament. These centers and activities go along perfectly with the story, or for Christmas themed activities.

Here is a look inside the pack. There are 5 colored centers, 5 print and play activities, and 3 pages to practice letter O. 

Fine Motor Ornament Sort- Use tongs and pom poms to sort by color. 

Ornament Shapes- Say the rhyme as a class. Practice shapes as you feed the Christmas tree shape ornaments. 

Count, Show, Write- Count the ornaments on each tree. Show the same amount. Write the number. 

Ornament Beginning Sound Puzzles- Complete each ornament puzzle by matching the letter to the picture with the that beginning sound.

Measurement Trees-  Use the ornament ruler to measure the height of each Christmas tree. 

Alphabet Tree- Call out a letter. Have your class mark the ornament with that letter using dot markers or dot stickers.

Decorate the Ornaments-  Decorate each ornament using stickers, dot markers, buttons, or pom poms.

Snip and Decorate a Tree- Practice scissor skills as you snip each ornament and decorate the tree. 

Tree Name Craft - Spell each child's name in ornaments.

Ornament Maze - Help Otto find the perfect tree by tracing each maze.
