Apples Kindergarten Math and Literacy Centers
Build and Trace Letters- Build each letter with play dough. Then, trace each letter with dry erase marker. Uppercase letters are included.
Beginning Sound Clip- Use a clothespin to clip together the two pictures that have the same beginning sound.
Apple Basket Rhymes- Match each rhyming apple to the apple basket with a rhyming word.
Alphabet Dominoes- Practice letter recognition by building a domino path. There are 2 options of dominoes included: matching uppercase to uppercase letters or matching uppercase to lowercase letters.
Apple Writing Tray- Practice letter formation as you write each letter in a salt or sand tray. Both uppercase and lowercase letters are included.
Build and Count to 20- Build each number with cubes. Then, count that many apples on each tree.
Subitizing Races- This is a 2-player game. Take turns flipping over a card, identifying the amount of dots, and moving to the correct number on the gameboard. Beware of the CHOMP cards!
Build and Smash 2D Shapes- Build each shape with play dough. Then, smash a play dough ball over the 3 matching shapes.
Count and Clip to 10- Count the apple seeds in each picture or ten frame. Use a clothespin to clip the correct number on each card.
Count and Show to 10- Count each picture. Show the same amount with mini erasers or counters. Write the number with dry erase marker.Apples Kindergarten Math and Literacy Centers
