Ice Cream- Preschool Literacy Beginning Sounds

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Play 3 in a Row as a class! Each child gets a game board. Draw a beginning sound card. Identify the beginning sound. Cover the correct letter.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Build ice cream cones by matching each picture to the correct beginning sound.

Center Time/ Independent Practice-  Cut and paste each letter to match the picture with the correct beginning sound.
