 Community Helpers Preschool Alphabet Mats

Do you need easy to prep and engaging alphabet activities for a community helpers theme? These alphabet mats are low prep and tons of fun for your preschool learners. These alphabet mats practice uppercase and lowercase letters, letter tracing, and beginning sounds.

What's the Sound?- Identify the correct beginning sound for each picture. Cover the picture with the correct letter. 









Match It- Match each letter to the recording page. For added fun, place the letters in a sensory bin.





Search and Find- Place a thin layer of Pluffle or paint on top of  the letters. Uncover, identify, and write each letter.





Stamp and Smash-
Roll a play dough ball on each letter. Smash and stamp it with an alphabet stamp.





Trace It
- Use a dry erase marker to trace each letter.





Build It- Build each letter with blocks.










I Spy Letters- Search and find each letter. Check it off the checklist. 









Alphabet Path- Roll a dice and move that many spaces. Name the letter you land on.






Spin and Trace- Spin the spinner. Identify the letter. Trace or write the letter in that row.
