Saturday, October 6, 2018
Whether you teach letter of the week, or if you just need some fun activities in your preschool class, Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum is such a fun book companion.

Here is a look inside my Bubble Gum Book Companion. You can grab this pack in my TPT shop.

Bubble Gum Book Companion

Bubble Gum Counting- Your students will choose a counting card and count that many of each colored gum (pom poms, buttons, beads) into the gumball machine.

Next is a fine motor color sort. You can have your students sort gumballs by color. Throw in a tongs to make this a fine motor activity.

My kids LOVE glue, but need some practice showing control with the AMOUNT they use. This craft is to practice using just a dot of glue. Make a small dab of glue on each black dot. Cover with pom poms to fill up the gumball machine.

We love q-tip painting. It combines fine motor control with art, and counting too. Your students will count and add paint gumballs to each machine.

Practice matching letters with this dot sticker gumball matching activity. You can write lowercase or uppercase letters on the dot stickers for your students to match.

We love doing name crafts. Write your student's name on the gumball machine. Have your students write one letter from their name on each gumball. Cut out the gumballs, and glue inside the gumball machine.

This game is called POP! Look for the matching letter and then say 'POP' as you pop the bubble with your finger.

Trace and Count- Trace the numbers. Then count gumballs (pom poms) into each gumball machine.

Trace it, Write it- Trace each letter with dry erase marker and then write the letter.

There are also three no prep pages included. A letter G tracing page and letter G sound sort. I hope your kids love this book companion.
