Fall Preschool Theme

FALL is FINALLY here. It is my favorite season of all, so we had a lot of fun with these fall themed preschool activities. These printables are from my TPT shop.

Fall Preschool Pack

Acorn Count- Count the acorns in the bowl, write the number, and count acorns onto the ten frame.

Fine Motor Tree Color Match- How fun are these leaf clips? They are from the Dollar Tree. Clip and match the colors!

Fall Sensory Bin- We love sensory bins, and there are so many fun options for fall. For this bin, we used kinetic sand as the base. We threw in mini erasers (Target), fake acorns, and leaf table scatter.

Build a Fall Tree- Count pom poms onto each tree. This is great for counting practice and number recognition.

Fall Writing Tray- This cute tray is also from the Dollar Tree. I colored the salt and my son will trace each letter in the salt.

Leafy Names- I used fake leaves (Dollar Tree) as the base to this sensory bin. I wrote on letter from Grayson's name on each die cut leaf. He pulled out the letters to spell his name.

Tractor Letter Match- Match the uppercase and lowercase letters. You could also use these alphabet cards to play memory match!

Acorn Shapes- Play dough is always a hit with my boys. You can use loose parts, Wikki Stix, or play dough to outline each shape.

Fall Name Craft-
Have your child write their name on fall leaves!

Fall Scissor Skills- Grab some paint samples and cut across the lines for scissor practice. Then use the scraps to make a fall tree.

We loved this fine motor activity. The boys grabbed a branch from the yard, we stuck it in a chunk of play dough, and then strung beads onto the branches.

Trace and Write  - For this writing practice, he identified each letter, traced the letter, and then wrote the letter by himself.

Tube Stamping Fall Tree- Fold a toilet paper tube to look like a leaf. Dip in paint, and stamp on your paper.

Football Ten Frames- Fall means football in our home. We used beans as our sensory bin base. My son picked a ten frame football and matched it to the correct goalpost.

We always enjoy fall art projects. Every year we do the cork painted tree art and bubble wrap prints. Just paint bubble wrap and press down on your leaf! Repeat several times with different fall colors.

Fall Find It- I Spy cards are so much fun! What's cooler than a magnifying glass and dry erase marker?!?! Hayden worked on finding sight words, but there are also ABC I Spy Cards in the Fall Pack!

Fall Small World- We found these figures at Target, added in some fake leaves, fake acorns, and tree stumps for pretend play.

Fall is such a fun time to use loose parts! We used acorns and table scatter to fill the sight words and letter cards.

Cork Printed Fall Trees- I always love hand print art. It is such a sweet keep sake. Both of my boys painted their hands to be the tree trunk. Then, they dipped a cork in paint for the fall leaves. I love how this one turned out!

Fall Number Sense- Sort each leaf by number.

Baking Soda and Vinegar Molds- I mixed baking soda and water and froze it in fall molds.

Then we squired the molds with vinegar! My kids always love the fizzy reaction!

Fall Play Dough Tray- I love an open ended play dough tray! These loose parts are all from Hobby Lobby, and led to hours of independent play!

Spin Art- My kids always love spin art. We cut out leaf shapes and put them in our salad spinner. We dropped in paint and had a BLAST.

Color Diffusing Leaves- Have you used color diffusing paper before? You just drop on liquid watercolors with a pipette and the results are always gorgeous!!

There were SO MANY activities we didn't get to this time, but check them out in my Fall Pack!
