All About Me- Preschool Theme
What is a better theme for little ones, them themselves! :) This All About Me theme is filled with math, literacy, and writing activities for preschoolers.
You can buy the printables in my TPT shop.
Here is a look at some of the activities included in this pack.
Tracing Tray- Fill with salt and trace each letter.
Feelings Book- Draw expressions on each face to show the different emotions.
Clothesline Names- Spell each child's name using clothespins.
Fine Motor Patterns- Create and extend each pattern on a pipe cleaner.
Counting Fingerprints- Use finger paint or ink to count finger prints.
PreWriting Tracing Lines- Trace each line with dry erase marker, or use loose parts to practice the left to right progression.
Blow Paint Portraits- This is such a fun art activity. Have each child draw a face. Squirt liquid watercolor on top of the head. Then, using a straw, blow the liquid watercolor to make hair!
Color Sorting Houses- Sort people counters, bear counters, or pom poms into each colored house. These people counters are from Learning Resources.
Roll and Dress- Roll a dice, and dress the person!
How Tall- Measure the height of each child by using unifex cubes or snap blocks.
High Five Number Hunt- Hide the handprints around the room. Find each number and trace the number on the recording page.
Uppercase/Lowercase Letter Puzzles- Match the uppercase and lowercase letter to complete each puzzle.
Keys to the House- Match the key to the correct house by finding words that rhyme.
Beginning Sound Houses- Cover each picture with the correct beginning sound.
Emotion Mats- Use play dough, or loose parts, to show each emotion.
Spell Your Name- Find the letters to spell each child's name.
House Shapes - Make a house using various shapes. Count how many of each shape you used.

All About Me Play Dough- Grab some play dough, and Mr. Potato Head parts, and watch your kiddos create!
Hidden Names- Write each child's name with white crayon. Use liquid watercolors to paint (or spray) over the name, until the entire name appears.
Tape Resist Letters- Make the first letter of each child's name with painters tape. Have the students paint the entire page. When the paint is dry, remove the tape.
All About Me Sensory Play- The base of this bin is Kinetic Sand, and I added our people counters and buttons!
Self Portrait- It is so much fun to see the progress in drawing and name writing throughout the year. This is my son's name at the beginning of PreK. He wrote his name, and drew a self-portrait with sharpie. Then, we placed bleeding tissue paper over top. We painted the tissue with water. When it dried, we peeled the bleeding tissue paper off!
Icy Rescue- This is fun for just about any theme! Freeze people counters in a cake pan. Use squirters and water to rescue the people.
House Addresses Freebie- Write or build each house address. Grab the freebie HERE.
