Space Themed Unit for Kindergarten and 1st Grade

Space is such a fun unit to study. This unit has centers, no prep pages, reading comprehension organizers, writing, and science activities. 

Space Themed Unit 

Space Science- There are planet puzzles, planet research pages,  and planet acronym page.

Create a Solar System- Cut, color, and paste the planets in order. 

Space Write the Room- Get up and moving with this space themed write the room activity. 

Space Writing- There are scrambled sentences, sentence starters, write the room, and a nonfiction book to write based on research.

Oreo Moons- Who doesn't love using cookies to learn? Use Oreos to build each moon phase. 

Place Value Puzzles- Use each clue to build the puzzle. 

Spaceship Races- This phonics game practices reading words with the ou/ow sound.

Spin, Tally, and Graph- Practice tally marks and creating bar graphs. 

No Prep- There are 10 space themed no prep pages.

Reading Comprehension- There are 6 reading comprehension graphic organizers with a space theme. 

Parts of Speech Dominos- Build a domino chain based on each part of speech.

Spaceship Shop- Count the correct coins to purchase each spaceship.
