October is the perfect time to have fun with spiders. This spider preschool theme is packed full of hands on learning activities.

Dough Letters- Build each letter with play dough. Then use dry erase marker to trace each letter.

Roll and Fill - Roll a dice. Count that many spiders onto the ten frame.

Spider Color Sort- Sort each spider by color.

Spider Name Craft- We marble painted the background to look like a web. Then wrote his name on the spiders. He ordered the letters in his name, and glued onto the background.

Spider Shapes- Build each shape with play dough. Then trace each shape with dry erase marker.

Spider Letter Excavation- We got the cutest spider ice cube tray from the Dollar Tree. I froze our letter beads in the tray, and Grayson worked to excavate the letters.

Spider Sounds - Identify the beginning sound of each picture. Write the letter on the line.

Spider Puzzles- Count the spiders on each web. Match it to the correct number.

Letter Grab- Pick a web letter from the sensory bin. Trace the letter on the recording page.

Spider Letters- Build each letter with mini erasers or spider confetti.

Spider Measurement- Use yarn to create a web. Pick and cut a strand of yarn. Measure it with the spider rulers.

Sticky Web- Make a sticky web with contact paper and yarn. Pick a letter off of the web. Match the letter.

Sticky Spider Web-  This is a fun and easy craft. Cut out the center of a paper plate and tape contact paper inside (sticky side up). Have your kiddos cut yarn for the web and add confetti spiders.

There are even more spider themed activities in this pack! You can grab the pack on TPT.
