May Kindergarten Math Mats

Turtle Addition- Flip over two playing cards. Add the numbers together.
Ocean Patterns- Use counters to build each pattern.
Build a Shape - Use play dough to build each 2D shape.
Roll and Decompose- Roll a dice. Use counters to decompose the number.
Place Value Picnic- Place a domino on the playing mat. Build the number with base 10 blocks.
Domino Build and Compare- This game is for 2 players. Each player places a domino on the game board and builds the number. Compare which number is larger.
Mermaid Numbers- Roll a 20 sided dice. Build the number in the ten frame, and with base ten blocks.
Spin and Subtract- Spin both spinners. Show the subtraction problem with counters.
What Time is It?- Use a spinner to spin the time. Write the time with dry erase marker.
Flip and Compare- This is a two player game. Flip over playing cards, and compare numbers.
Fish Counting- Place a playing card on the mat. Show the number with counters in the picture. Then, write the number.
Roll and Cover - Roll 2 dice and cover a picture that represents the number.
2D Ocean Shapes- This is a 2 player game to race and cover all 8 shapes on their playing mat.
