August Kindergarten Math Mats
These back to school themed math mats are perfect for kindergarten students. They are just one page, so low prep! There are 31 math mats included that cover a wide variety of math skills.
Five Frame Races- Grab a friend and practice five frames with this game.
Part, Part, Whole- Spin the spinner twice, and add the numbers together.
One More, One Less- Roll a 20 sided dice and show the number on the playing mat. Use counters to show numbers that are one more and one less.
Crayon Counting- Roll a 10 sided dice. Show the number on the crayon box. Show the numbers that are one more and one less.
Domino Building 20- Place a domino on the playing mat. Show the number in the ten frame. Circle the number, then write the number with dry erase marker.
Domino Build and Compare- Place 2 dominos on the playing mat. Build the number with cubes. Compare numbers.
Grab and Sort- Grab a handful of coins. Sort the coins on the playing mat.
Roll and Compare- This is a 2 player game. Each player rolls a dice and places counters onto the bus. Compare numbers.
Bus Counting- Flip over a playing card. Write the number with dry erase marker. Count counters onto the bus.
Desk Addition- Place two playing cards on the mat. Use counters to show and solve the addition problem.
Spin and Subtract- Spin both spinners. Use counters to solve the subtraction problem.
Crayon Counting- Spin the spinner. Count the crayons in the box. Cover the correct number.
