Pumpkin Preschool Math- Numbers 0-10

This math preschool activity pack focuses on numbers 0-10 with a fun, pumpkin theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Pumpkin Preschool Math- Numbers 0-10

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Discuss numbers 1-10 and make a number line as a class. As you introduce each number, and count the dots on the ten frame, each child will count and place that many linking shapes on their number line. 

Small Groups/ Center Time- Give students the opportunity to practice identifying numbers by choosing a pumpkin seed counting card, counting the seeds, and then finding the correct number to feed to the pumpkin. 

Small Groups/ Center Time- Build each number with play dough. Then, count that many pumpkins onto the patch.

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll a ten sided dice and use dot stickers or dot markers to count that many pumpkins onto the vine. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Dip a q-tip in paint and count and dot seeds in each pumpkin.
