  January Fine Motor Task Boxes


Are you looking for fine motor activities for January in your preschool classroom? These fine motor task boxes cover a variety of math, literacy, and writing skills, while practicing fine motor.

Snow globe Counting- Identify each number. Count that many objects into the snow globe. Then clip the matching number. 




Winter Mazes- 
Use a dry eraser marker to follow each maze. 




Syllable Count and String - Count the syllables in each word. String that many beads onto the pipe cleaner. 




Snowball Fight- Use tongs to count snowballs onto each counting card. 




Snowball Link- Link together snowballs that show the same number.




Dough Shapes- Build each shape with play dough. Then smash a ball over the matching shapes.




Winter Letters- Build each letter with dough or loose parts. 




Scissor Strips- 
Practice scissor skills by cutting along the lines. 





Missing Numbers-
Use number clothespins to clip the missing numbers in each sequence.
