This math preschool activity pack focuses on addition with a fun, Earth Day theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Earth Day Addition

Whole Group/ Circle Time- As a class find the missing addends using the Earth Day ten frame counting mat. 

Small Groups/ Center Time- Roll two dice, count that many counters into the recycling bins, and add the numbers together. Write the addition sentence with dry erase marker. 

Small Groups/ Center Time- Roll a 10 sided dice. Count that many triangles onto the plant, and counters onto the ten frame. Find the missing addend. Write the addition sentence with a dry erase marker. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll 2 dice and dot that many dots into the recycling bin. Add the numbers together and write the addition sentence. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll 2 dice and Q-tip paint that many dots onto the Earth. Add the numbers together.
