 Comparing Numbers Preschool and Kindergarten Math- Gingerbread

This math preschool activity pack focuses on comparing numbers with a fun, gingerbread theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Gingerbread Preschool Math- Comparing Numbers

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Pick a gingerbread counting card. Have the gingerbread man run that far on the number line. Repeat. Compare numbers.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Pick two ten frame cards. Build each number. Compare.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Flip over two number cards. Place that many decorations on the gingerbread houses. Compare numbers. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll a dice. Dip a Q-tip in paint and make that many dot decorations on the gingerbread house. Repeat. Write the numbers and compare. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll 2 dice. Count that many stickers onto the cookie sheet. Compare  numbers.
