Weather Preschool Math- Addition

This math preschool activity pack focuses on addition with a fun, weather theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Weather Addition- Preschool Math

Whole Group/ Circle Time- As a class, use a number line and a weather friend to solve each addition problem.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Use yellow or orange pipe cleaners to find the missing addend to make 10.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Use 2 colors of cubes to represent each number, and complete the addition problem. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll 2 dice and use fingerpaint or ink to make that many raindrops under each cloud. Add the numbers together. 

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Cut and paste raindrops under each cloud. Count the raindrops and solve the addition problem.
