 Comparing Numbers Preschool and Kindergarten Math- Space

This math preschool activity pack focuses on comparing numbers with a fun, space theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Space  Preschool Math- Comparing Numbers

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Make a number line with the space number cards. Roll a dice and have a rocket blast off to the number. Repeat. Compare numbers. Numbers 1-20 are included. 

                        

Small Groups/ Center Time- Flip over a space counting card. Count stars into the sky. Compare numbers.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Count the pictures on each card. Place that many linking shapes on the card. Compare numbers.

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Roll 2 dice. Count star stickers, stamps, or make yellow dots with a Q-tip. Write the numbers. Compare numbers.

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Use cubes to build each number. Compare towers. Color the star with the larger number.
