This literacy preschool activity pack focuses on beginning sounds with a fun, birthday theme! Use these activities in circle time, small groups, centers, and/or for independent practice.

Birthday- Preschool Literacy Beginning Sounds

Whole Group/ Circle Time- Model identifying beginning sounds as you pick a card from a sensory bin, determine the beginning sounds, and trace the correct letter on the recording pages.

Small Groups/ Center Time- Clip alphabet clothespins to the pictures with the correct beginning sound.

Center Time/ Independent Practice- Use alphabet stamps to stamp the correct beginning sound for each picture. Then, write the letter.
