Turkey Unit of Study for Kindergarten and 1st Grade

November is the perfect time to learn about turkeys! This turkey themed unit is geared towards kindergarten and 1st grade students. 

Turkey Unit 

Turkey Writing- There are turkey sentence starters,  scrambled sentences, write the room, and a nonfiction book about turkeys for your kiddos to write. 

No Prep Pages- There are 10 no prep pages. Just print and go.

Reading Comprehension- There are six graphic organizers to practice reading comprehension skills. Just add your favorite turkey stories. 

Turkey Science- Describe turkeys with graphic organizers. 

Turkey Life Cycle- Learn about the turkey life cycle.

Turkey Contractions- Complete each turkey contraction puzzle.

Vowel Team Link- Read each word and link it to the correct picture. 

Spin and Cover Coins- Spin the spinner. Cover the correct coin.

Turkey Make 10- Flip over 2 cards. If the sum equals 10, keep the cards. 

R- Controlled Feather Sort- Sort each r-controlled picture.
