October Kindergarten Math Mats
These low prep (only ONE page) math mats are perfect for kindergarten students! Use these for morning tubs, math centers, or small group instruction.
October Kindergarten Math Mats
Pumpkin Subtraction- Place 10 seeds on the pumpkin. Place a playing card on the mat. Remove that many seeds and solve the subtraction problem.
Spooky Comparison-
Place two dominoes on the playing mat. Count that many eyes into the jars. Compare numbers.
Roll and Compare- This is a two player game. Each player rolls a dice and counts teeth into each monster's mouth. Compare numbers.
Roll, Build, and Compare- In this two player game, each player rolls a dice and shows that number on the twenty frame. Compare numbers.
Pumpkin Cover Up-
Grab a domino and count the dots. Place it on the correct pumpkin number.
Flip and Build-
Flip over 2 playing cards. The first card represents the tens, and the other card represents the ones. Build the number with base 10 blocks. Write the number.
Monster Numbers-
Spin the spinner. Show the number on the ten frame. Write the number, tally the number, and draw dots to represent the number.
Flip and Skip Count-
Place a playing card on the mat. Skip count by 10s and write the numbers with dry erase marker.
Spooky Number Hunt-
Move around the game board. Identify each number. Cover the number in the center of the game board.
Broomstick Measurement-
